Functionality of camera app in custom ROMs?

I've been considering switching to a custom ROM to get some more battery life. But recently I saw a screenshot of a Marshmallow ROM on a Nexus 4 (unfortunately didn't save it), which showed the camera app, and it looked like most features like panorama and lens blur weren't there.

Did my eyes deceive me or are these features really not in some custom ROMs for the N4? Can someone here confirm that? Not having these features would really stop me from "upgrading", because I always loved them.
