Should Untradable become Account Bound ?

I understand the concept behind items that are bound to a character, but given the way our characters all share the same labor pool and that the cost of actually gearing up an alt is almost unthinkable, I think that making almost all untradable items Account Bound.

The only down side of this I can think of would be that a tiny tiny minority of players would then not buy the gear for their alt, but lets face it people struggle to gear their main never mind spending stupid amounts of money on an alt, so I think passing down old gear to an alt should be allowed.
