Mayflash Gamecube Controller PC Adapter Problems

I recently acquired a Mayflash Adapter and Gamecube Controller and I can't seem to get it to work for Dolphin. I'm running the newest instance of Dolphin and I have Windows 10 on my PC and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I followed this guide but it hasnt helped me at all. The Gamecube Controller tab doesn't show that there is anything other than my keyboard connected. Also the guide mentions going into "Dolphin>Options>Controller Settings but that doesnt seem to be an option on my instance of Dolphin. Any thoughts on how to get it to work?
