TIL something about Illusory Rings and Manikin riposte animations

I had a duel with a player that was dual-wielding spears with both Illusory Rings equipped, but I wasn't sure which spears they happened to be using. I returned to my world and noticed the same player's sign. When I hovered over it I could see both of the weapons (Spitfire Spears, in this case) despite the fact that this player was using the Illusory Rings.

I was parried by a Manikin wielding the Manikin Sabre and it had a riposte animation that I had never seen before: the Manikin gets behind you and cuts your throat, which I thought was pretty neat.
