I've become what I hate

I always use to complain about girls on OKC/Tinder being picky and not giving me a shot. However, I've been looking back at my past messages and noticing at all the girls I faded on before meeting them just because they didn't match the ideal partner in my head (usually looks-wise). Can anyone persuade me to give people a chance? Anyone here been pleasantly surprised because the person turned out better than they expected? Any guy here meet up with a girl who didn't look great in her profile but was attractive in person?
