PSA: The $1.85 ride offer from GetMe Houston is the real deal. $1.85 for food or store deliveries too.

Just experimented with GetMe today and I have to say I'm a fan, despite the shitty app. They've been doing a $1.85 promotional period since Saturday to anywhere you want, and no fees charged for tolls surprisingly. They also do $1.85 for food and store delivery. I noticed their rates seem to pay their drivers really well compared to Uber, so its a win-win situation for drivers and riders. Thought I'd give a heads up.
