What are the major Tattoo Awards / Tattoo Conventions?

I have been trying to find this out with little success. So is there like an "oscar" or "emmy" equivalent for tattooing? If so, what is it? I understand people can win awards at conventions, but there's a bunch and I have no idea if some are more important than others. So in addition then, what are the most important Tattoo Conventions in the world?

Thanks for any help!

Edit: I'm from Canada as well so if anyone knows what are the major canadian ones that would be awesome!
