Experiment going wrong

Brewed an IPA last night (Northern Brewer's Chinook Extract). Decided I was ready to experiment with upping the gravity and possibly flavour. In addition to sticking to their recipe and instructions, I dumped in 1lb of honey. and brought my fermenter volume up to 4.5 gallons. Waited until the temp was 72, and then pitched in my US-05 yeast (single packet). Target gravity was 1.053, we hit 1.065

It's been nearly 24 hours now, and no fermentation signs at all to be found.

This what it looks like now - http://i.imgur.com/k6wWByV.jpg

Update: Thanks to everyone for their advice and insight. You helped assure me that things are fine and going as planned.

Is it time to try and pitch another packet of US-05 dry yeast? Dump it, or keep waiting in hopes fermentation kicks off this decade?
