Bob's Quirks: Barbecue Potato Chips

Hi, everyone. This "incident" didn't happen to me personally, but happened to our mutual friend (MF) and his mom (we'll call her Deb) at the time. Most of this is basically hearsay from MF, but knowing Bob, I don't doubt it much. This was actually pretty amusing and a little creepy at the same time.

Bob often spent the night at MF's house because, according to Bob, his parents would sometimes lock him out of the house after getting fed up with his laziness. So one night, MF and Bob are playing video games in the living room on MF's PS3. They stayed up until about 2:00 AM. MF called it a night and went to his room. Bob apparently stayed up the rest of the night and went into the kitchen, which was right by MF's room, some time during the early morning. MF woke up to his mom shrieking in the kitchen.

Deb: "Oh my God! What are you doing?!"

Bob: "Eatin' chips."

Deb's shriek was pretty shrill and woke MF up. Bob had been sitting in the kitchen, in the dark, eating barbecue potato chips at the table. No light from his cell phone. Complete darkness. He scared the hell out of Deb, and when MF heard about it, he busted out laughing and told me about it.

Maybe Bob isn't the only one who's ever done this, but he's the only person I know personally who has. It was ... weird. I did get a laugh out of it after getting over the weirdness of the situation. I suppose that this is the only funny story I have. Then again, it didn't happen to me.
