How do I remove the flash hider on a G&G firehawk

I've currently got the black metal flash hider that comes stock on the G&G firehawks (purchased in the UK).

I've removed the hex screw, heated it up to try to melt any glue that might be holding it in.

The more I try to remove it the more it seems to get stuck.
