New to Stockton! Looking for friends!

Hey r/stockton!

My name is Binh, 25. I recently moved to Stockton. I'm usually outgoing but I didn't realise how quiet it is in town. There doesn't seem to be any nightlife or anything interesting happening! Also, it's a little bit tough since I don't own a car. I'm saving up for a bicycle at the moment.

I went to Rubie's Bar yesterday and it's not really my sort of crowd. So I thought I'd reach out here to look for new friends. Sorry if it's against the subreddit.com redditiquette (or however you spell it!)

A little bit about myself -- I'm originally from Melbourne, Australia. I graduated last year with a directing degree, and now I'm on a work and travel visa for the USA. I lived in Los Angeles, San Diego, and for the past two months I was living it up in Tijuana. Right now I'm working with this Spanish startup newspaper so if you were going to ask what I'm doing here that's the answer!

I'm keen to meet other travellers or people my age who like hiking, drinking good coffee, listening to live music (not cumbia, I listened to too much of it in Mexico) and watching movies!
