When is the "real" Lobo coming back!?

This has been my favorite character for as long as I can remember and now he is just some sort of dainty hero with finesse. There has to be some sort of plan to right the ship here. Maybe end the current New 52 with the original main man coming back and doing what he does best: kill everyone and f#€k sh!t up! Any info would be much appreciated.
