[WMA] My girlfriends teacher believes that no human has been to space

As the title says, her teacher believes that space missions are a hoax, stating that "there is no proof". Normally I wouldn't care but he seems to have swayed her a bit towards this idea, and it worries me. Help?

Edit: Thank you for all of your responses! I've shown my s/o some Chris Hadfield videos, had her read some reports, and had her read this thread which she got a kick out of. It seems we've brought her back to sanity!

As for her teacher, as much as I'd like to see a moron in the education field get dropped on their ass I don't think it is morally right for me to bring this up to their superiors. I've armed my girlfriend with knowledge and she can decide whether or not to combat her teacher with it should the subject arise again, which is all I wanted.
