Opinion Post: Vikings offseason moves
- Cut Matt Kalil, John Sullivan, and Mike Wallace which will save over 25 million.
Berger did great in Sullivan's absence and the other 2 need to go.
- Grant Chad Greenway his 1 year deal wish. Low guaranteed money with incentives.
I know the NFL is a business and loyalty means nothing, but Greenway played well enough to play in a situational/mentorship role.
- Try to sign Eric Weddle. If outbid, go for George Iloka so we can draft a safety for the future.
I'm more of a fan of Weddle, Iloka is probably a better fit.
- Sign the best available pass blocking OT and another lineman that can play both the G/T for depth.
No explanation needed here.
- Draft Darron Lee. Zimmer will get the most value out of Lee.
Move Kendricks to the outside and our LBs just got a whole hell of a lot scarier.
- Sign Marvin Jones or Travis Benjamin
I wish Wallace would've worked out, but until Teddy proves he can hit a deep throw we need to have route runners more than raw speed.
- Re-sign Terence Newman and sign Leon Hall to add CB Depth.
As much as I would like to see them sign a top CB, developing Trae is more important than keeping him in the nickel.
- Use 2nd-7th round draft picks for WR, OL, DL, S, and P. Jeff Locke finished in the bottom of the league and no one will forget about his holding abilities. "Laces out DAN!"
What do you guys think or what would you do differently?
Edit- idk what the hell happened to the formatting
