Other distros lock up, but GalliumOS works perfectly?

So I've realized something a bit ago which I find kind of odd. It's a non-issue for GalliumOS, but seemingly an issue for other distros on C710.

So I'm running a C710 (Parrot) with the 1007u processor and the Windows coreboot image (which I'm pretty sure is the cause of the hangs, since the latest coreboot image doesn't make things hang, but then it takes me literally 20 minutes to load Windows), and I've noticed that the only Linux distribution that doesn't hang ever is GalliumOS.

I've tried Kubuntu, Ubuntu, Xubuntu, Mint, Elementary, Antergos, Apricity, and they all lock up either immediately or within 20 minutes of using them (whether I'm just in GUI mode or not, and I've updated each distro fully), but I've never had any issues with GalliumOS.

Is there something specific that's done with Gallium's kernel? And things I can test to stop getting the other OS' to stop locking up?
