I MUST be vaping wrong... Help?

I also posted this on r/vaporents, but I was hoping there were some cool cats over here that may be able to help as well.

So last night my friend was nice enough to let me test run his brand new Haze Dual v3 straight out of the box before giving it to him tonight.

A little back story: I have the Hebe Titan 2 (pretty cheap portable dry-herb vape) and I've been slightly disappointed. It usually takes me three or more bowl packs to start feeling any noticeable relaxing effects. I was hoping that I just had a terrible vaporizer, and after trying the Haze, I would experience true vaping and buy myself one as well. Unfortunately, this was not the case.

First off, this is not a post AGAINST the Haze v3, because it really was a good vaporizer. I love the dual bowl action, and it heats up very quickly. My problem lies in the high. Now I've read a lot on highs while using a vaporizer vs smoking, and understand that the highs are different. However, I was disappointed to find that after four bowls in the Haze, I was feeling just about the same as I did with the Hebe Titan 2.

I was ready to accept the fact that I just can't get as high as some, but then I came across a Haze Review from an experienced smoker who claimed that ONE BOWL "did it for [him]". WHAT?! I think that my technique is correct. I take long, slow draws, and I keep the temp always above around 365 degrees, and try my best to hold my hits for a few seconds before exhaling. My only disadvantage is that I cannot enjoy vaping when above around 380 degrees because it irritates my throat.

I was hoping that someone had some suggestions for me, because I'm beginning to be more and more disappointed with dry-herb vaporizing as a whole.

Thanks!
