Wowwhy's What Ifs? - Steven Never Heals Lapis

Here's a fun little Idea that may or may not be noticed by you guys. So I thinking to myself today, the plot of Steven Universe could have gone many different ways, and there were many things that could of happened, but what if they did? And there were many things that did happen, but what if they didn't happen in the show?

So I figured I would discuss these what ifs with you guys? What this post series would be about is every couple of days or so I will ask you guys a what if question. I want everyone to discuss this what if in the comments and question how the series would have turned out if that what if happened or if it didn't happen? So my first ever what if question I want us to discuss is.

What If Steven never healed Lapis? What would have happened to the plot if Steven never managed to heal her? Let's talk about it in detail in the comments.
