What Phono Preamp should I get?

Hey All,

I currently have a [TCC TC-750 BLACK Audiophile Phono Preamp] (http://www.amazon.com/TC-750-BLACK-Audiophile-Phono-Preamplifier/dp/B000A36LQ4/ref=lp_2530140011_1_1?srs=2530140011&ie=UTF8&qid=1456088394&sr=8-1) and I feel like I could get more out of my records. I am running a Technics Sl-1700 with a shure 97xe cart. Just curious what others recommend in terms of PrePhonos. I'm open to Tubes, modern, vintage..looking to have a discussion. Price range is up to $500

Also came across this tube, and just curious if anyone has this? http://hagerman-audio-labs.myshopify.com/collections/phono-preamps/products/cornet3
