[QUESTION] Should I feel guilty of buying a Strat instead of a Tele?

A long time ago I bought my Squier Strat SE, I've had my great amounts of fun with it, but when I had my options I had to choose between my current Strat, and a full size Tele, I swear I wanted to choose the Tele but because the Strat had three single coils I chose it, but nowadays I just regret that I didn't buy it instead of the Strat. Should I have bought the Tele? I play both hard and soft rock, so I wouldn't know what would fit my style more, also I would have loved to have a Tele to install a XY MIDI pad onto it.
