/r/masseffect, who do you think is the most admirable character in the series?

Out of curiosity, which character of the series do you think is most worthy of your admiration? A character to whom you aspire?

This could be someone who's displayed the most personal growth over the series, or someone who's been the most heroic or most noble, or someone who has shown the most determination.

Basically, which character do you admire the most and why? And of course I mean besides Shepard. ^Not ^that ^you ^can't ^say ^Shepard, ^it ^just ^seems ^too ^easy.

In my opinion, I would say Mordin is the most admirable character. He shows great concern not just for salarians, but for all life in the galaxy. His work on the modified genophage project was about preventing war and total extermination of the krogan, not a fear response of what the krogan could do to the galaxy. Rather, it was in fear of what the galaxy would do to the krogan.

And while he is firm in his belief that he did the right thing, he knows that his science has caused pain to the krogan as well. In order to atone, he moved on to help people in the slums of Omega and offer some protection against the violent gangs that run amok in the poorer districts.

Finally, he is open-minded to the idea of a better, more free galaxy in which the krogan could thrive. He leaked the intelligence that there are cured krogan females to the leader of Clan Urdnot because he had hopes that the krogan, united against a galactic threat, would save the people of the galaxy and the future of the krogan. And he takes it upon himself to make sure that cure is delivered properly.

Anyway, what about you? Which character of the series do you admire most?
