Are average people becoming obsolete?

Unless you are a STEM major I wish you best of luck on living comfortably. I still have not had any luck to get a full time job and then it dawned on me while job hunting. The average person is slowly being phased out to advance the species. Sure there will still be bus drivers and delivery workers, but that will be a fraction of the population. And even they will most likely become obsolete due to technology.
