Psychologist in Wellington
Hi all,
I'm finishing my PhD in clinical psychology in North Carolina and have a year long post-doctoral fellowship here starting in May. After that, I'm seriously considering moving to NZ, and Wellington in particular seems like a great scene. Anyone have any experience with or knowledge of the job market for psychologists in Wellington? I've checked the immigration and licensing board websites and it looks promising, I'm just kind of curious from an average redditor's perspective, what's the thinking around psychologists in Wellington? Are they a dime a dozen like in some US cities, or is it impossible to get an appointment? Is it culturally acceptable to see a psychologist or is it something no one talks about? Any input is appreciated!
