Going to build a new pc in a few months, but need help picking parts.
My current gaming pc is starting to lack a bit in performance, plus a couple of my parts are starting to break. My current budget is around 1500-2000 USD, though I live in Denmark so everything is more expensive than what I can find in the US/UK etc, at least at the sites I have looked at.
http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/tnCH6h (Or http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/ for US prices)
(When I convert into DDK these parts just about hit my budget)
Besides the help picking parts, I have a couple of questions about hardware, since I havent really looked at performances for a few years. But I have always learned that a i5 is more than enough, but when I read through some of the threads here, it sounds like an i7 could be a good choice, but is it really necessary? Also, the amount of ram is more than 8 gigs overkill or do people go for 16-32 gigs now a days?
Thanks beforehand!
(Another thing is, with the storage I bought a SSD and a HDD a year ago I plan to use aswell, so it's on purpose that it's only a "small" SSD.)
