Kasich Signs Bill Defunding Planned Parenthood
It's a little disheartening.

I get that Kasich is a policy wonk. That he is good with budgets. That he seems to be someone willing to work with other political persuasions go find practical solutions. But it's stuff like this that seems to show that - though he doesn't have the overt bravado of Trump or the naked conservatism of Rubio - he's ostensibly in the same camp as the rest.
I'm curious as to what those who support him - be it in the GOP or some indie minded folks - have to say about him signing a bill like this as well as other potential negatives (history with the environment, labor, etc) that would make him appealing to a large electorate.
EDIT: I know he's not a liberal, like myself. I was just under the impression that he was beyond doing the typical GOP tactics (casting aspersions towards PP for one) and the "good with budgets" is a trait I hear many speak well of him about. I don't necessarily subscribe to that belief.
