Quick question about forging things that require weapons

Hi, newbie player here. Bought a Tipedo blueprint and noticed it requires Kunai and a Bo to forge. I kind of want to level every weapon to 30 and keep it (just a personal challenge sort of), and I'd rather not use a level 30 Kunai to make this thing. If I made another Kunai that wasn't leveled up at all, can I specify which version of the Kunai will be used in the forge?

Thanks!
