Recently reached level 85 Elven Knight, question about Chronicle and Halidom.

So I got to level 85 a few days ago, loving my Elven Knight so far, but so far my damage output is quite low. So far I put in silver emblems in all my emblem slots, got a Black Behemoth, a Ratria's Tear and got a +10 Chills. I'm currently planning to get a level 80 Halidom armor and accessory set, and probably enchant my accessories with +x water enchantments. I was wondering if this is a good idea or if I should continue farming OV for Chronicle set pieces? I heard from people that the EK Chron set pieces are pretty lackluster and that it's better to aim for Halidom and Legendaries.
