I need a reality check: I want to stream for a living. I've been streaming ~36 hours a week for about 6 months. Where should I be by now?

I started streaming on February 4th, 2015.

I started streaming as a "job" around the beginning of September.

I average ~15 viewers, maxing out at ~25 for a few minutes at a time.

I have almost 700 followers.

I am not partnered (obviously).

I am starting to get discouraged because the streamer that I look up to and am motivated by (Witwix) had a sub button within a month of streaming, and as time goes on I am not experiencing anything close to that kind of growth.

Is there hope or am I just wasting my time? Should I stay the course or should I start looking for more practical means of employment?
