Quick thought on Qrow' semblance

Everyone's assuming he can turn into a bird, and it does seem like it but I think his semblance might work in a different way. What if his semblance is creating crows to watch stuff for him? Like Odin does. It would be an amazing tracking and infiltration skill.
In the last episode's post credit scene, he jumped down from that cliff and summoned one when we can't see him to throw us off. In episode 3, there's a crow watching Winter. I think Qrow sent him so he doesn't lose sight of her. When he arrives, the crow leaves. And the one watching Yang's his as well, he doesn't know what to say to her nor want to stand there all awkward. So he puts a bird to watch her for him.

It's just something I came up with cause I don't wanna see Raven and Qrow sharing the same semblance. I have no proof aside from what I already told you but, well, it's just a theory. A BIRD THEORY. Thanks for reading
