Left Long term relationship for not wanting kids.

Hey all,

I'm a long time lurker on CF and Reddit.

So, the other day (literally a couple of days ago), my 4 year relationship ended with my girlfriend. About 6 months ago we both realized that we wanted different things in the future. She had always wanted kids, I however have always not wanted them.

The relationship slowly went sour over months and it has come to an end. I had always stated my intentions, she did as well, but the meaning behind our words grew over time, we had both realized neither one of us would give in.

Now i feel like shit and am concerned that i'll be lonely forever, as i'd never find someone who i like & is child free and who also likes me back.

I've been trying to keep my self positive, But i literally have zero friends, as sad as it sounds, they all faded away during the first couple years. I've started a new job recently, but apart from that, my life is pretty lonely. I thought about going raving yesterday night by myself, but i had wussed out. I might need another post on another forum. I used to have a silver tongue that got all the girls gathering and chatting, i don't even know how to approach someone now! haha

So, just to keep me going, I ask, Where did you meet your child free SO?

tl;dr; Broke up with gf of 4 years, she wanted kids. I do not. Zero friends, will i ever find a cf love?
