packing and last minute cruise tips please!

Hey all, I'm headed there in about a week and the only plans we have now are to fly into Baltra and spend 9 days in the Galapagos - we're planning to find a last minute deal on a cruise, ideally a 7 night deal but we'll have to be flexible. Would love any tips you folks have for where to find a great cruise, where to stay, what to pack, etc etc - thanks!
