Dwarf Gourami question

So we have a 20 gallon heavily planted tank with two Powder Blude Dwarf Gouramis, 3 Cobra Guppies, 7 Neon Tetras, 3 Oto Cats, and 6 Amano Shrimp. One of our Gourami's keeps wedging himself between our CO2 diffuser/rock/log/wall it seems like a really tiny place for him to be hiding and I was wondering if this is normal behavior? Do you think he is stressed out? Am I hitting over protective fish mom status?

  • pH: 7.5-7.6
  • Ammonia: 0-.25
  • Nitrite:0
  • Nitrate: 0 *Edit: he is other wise very active, the two Gourami's chase each other around a bit but nothing serious, he swims around all over the tank other wise, just sometimes he hides.
