Anyone else think they desaturated the game too much?
So, for the theme of this game it seems they're going with yellow. Every promotional art has this yellowish tone to it. It emanates this cool sickly feeling, which mirrors the almost apocalyptic theme of the flame going out and the word decaying. Now, the early videos and images of Lothric had this yellow tone to it, with the skies being yellow/orange. But then, with the network test it seems they dessaturated everything. If you color pick any screenshot from the network test, you'll get a variation of grays with 10% of color. Here are some screenshots for comparison: http://i.imgur.com/JEqpUPg.jpg

I guess they probably wanted to tone down the color to make it more consistent with the theme of ashes, but imo they went too far with it, to the point of the game looking rather bland.
Also, if you take a look at the latest trailer and teasers which feature Lothric, you'll see that everything is much more colorful. So I don't quite get the point of it. If they are aware of it enough to color correct it for the trailers, why not color correct the game? It could be that they'll change it in the final version of the game, but even the latest demos and leaks of other parts of the game in which the tone is meant to be darker/bluish, it still looks too grey.
I've made a simple color correction in Photoshop of a still from the network test, to make it look like in the promotional videos:

What do you think? Does the desaturation bother you, or do you prefer it as it is?
(Disclaimer: I'm in no way implying that this is a big deal, or that it would change my opinion of the game. It's just an observation from an artistic standpoint)
