Why there weren't any parliamentary government in US States?

The US constitution AFAIK does not explicitly prohibit multi-party parliamentary democracy at State level. Why there weren't any?

Parliamentary system is not strictly associated with monarch, there are plenty of parliamentary republics in Europe.
