Would burying logs in my garden bed fix the high nitrogen content?
My garden bed has an extremely high nitrogen content due to me getting generous when emptying my fireplace. Would burying logs in the garden bed fix this? I read decomposing wood absorbs nitrogen to a point. If this was to work how long could i keep them buried until I had to dig them up or could I just plant a nitrogen loving plant over them at a later time?
Another question would be how can I get lime naturally without going out and buying some?
