Sand King Tips

Recently I've enjoyed playing Sand King quite a bit, probably the non-carry hero I like the most, but I'm not too good at him - I can land good ults, I can land good stuns, and generally I am fairly solid mechanically speaking with him, but my biggest issue, by far, is the fact that I just cannot get my blink in time; I regularly end up getting it nearly 20 minutes into the game and that really, really hurts us, to the point that half the time it feels like we lost because I couldn't get it quick. On top of that, I just don't know how to jungle properly until i'm super high levelled and I can do it with ease. These two things are related, of course - Typically I have to share lane with a right click core and for that I can't really find much farm for myself on there, so I end up having to move over to the jungle.

How can I improve on these things? Perhaps you could give me some tips as to how can I make myself useful post-laning stage and pre-blink?
