3.55 -- I can't actually copy save files over.. am I out of luck?

Hi, I have CMA, and I even have vitaupdateblocker going, but when i try to run the CMA to transfer files on the vita (3.55) it makes me update, even when updateblocker goes in then confirms that I am now at the latest version.

Is there any other way (via ps3 for example) for me to copy these saves onto my vita?
