stjonal

Devies, I want it. I made one. What do you think?

Hello. I am Stjonal. Not too long ago (more like twenty minutes ago) someone asked me for a short line to describe me. Of course being me i wanted mine to be in Latin. And i wanted it to spell my nickname "Stjonal". So, here it is:

Sanguinis timendi in occulto nomine audaciam lauda.

Now, there are some problems here. For one: latin does not have the letter 'J'. To circumvent this I went with an 'I'. What i hope this translates to is: "In the secret name of the soon to be feared blood, celebrate boldness". This is how i did it:

in + abl gives a more abstract for of 'in'. I did not want it so say you should celebrate "inside" of my name. Sanguinis is the singular genitive of sanguis 'blood'. {edit} in this particular sense I want it to mean the more abstract for of family or blood relation. Timendi is the one i am not so sure of. I want it to be the singulare male genitive future pasive participle of timere 'to fear'. I know this is a gerundive, but i don't think it mistranslates. At least I hope it does not. occulto is ablative of occultus 'secret'. It aplies to nomine. Nomine is just the ablative form of nomen 'name'. This noun goes with the preposition in. Most famously this pair is used in the prayer thingamagiggy in nomine patri, et filii, et spiritus sancti, where it means 'in the name (of blanc in genitiv)'. So i blatently stole this. The thing that slightly worries me is that the genitive sanguinis is before the words in nomine. Next up, the most difficult word of all. The one word that took me the most time to conjugate properly. Audaciam. It is the accusative of audacia 'boldness/daringness'. Neat. Lauda is the singular (present) imperative of laudare 'to celebrate'. I was thinking it could be plural, but I want it to apply to the person reading/hearing it personally.

And here is where I don't know something. For people who know only a bit of Latin and don't immediately know all their cases it might look like in occulto nomine can combine with audaciam to mean: in the secret name of boldness. This is not what I mean. Can I, for clearance sake, put a comma in between nomine and audaciam? This makes the wordsSanguinis timendi in occulto nomine a clause. I don't want this to change the meaning of timendi. And since I don't know enough about the gerundive and its translation it is hard for me to 100% make sure it doesn't.

What do you guys think?
