machup ahri vs fizz

so, friend of my is telling me, that in higher elo its impossible to win this matchup as ahri. I told him that it's bullshit and always depends, and that you can also outplay fizz since ahri has the mobility to do that, but he's ignoring me after all.

im also playing ahri alot (plat 5 atm), and tbh i dislike this matchup, but ive also won it several times, but he's telling me that it doesnt count since its "low elo".
