Guitar laser effect

Fellow guitarist blocheads, do any of you have theories on what pedals Russell/Kele use to achieve the laser gun sound effects heard in their live versions of Uniform (https://youtu.be/0JXyjk8D6CA?t=290) and Hunting For Witches (https://youtu.be/dLsyv1HJjs0?t=93)?

I assume there's a delay pedal or two somewhere there at the base of it all, but other than that, I have no idea.
