Few questions, handling and "game pauses" for a second.

Noticing the game is pausing for a second then continuing. Happens every few minutes. I'm running at 4K 50fps+ all the time but the game will just stop, then start again throwing me off driving. I've got an increased damage mod if that makes a difference?

Also sometimes when im steering full lock (G27 set to 270 degrees) some cars will bog down in revs even with my foot to the floor. I've tried fiddling with assists but nothing seems to help. Is this "normal" or am I missing something?

Specs:

• i5 3570
• 8GB RAM
• Zotac AMP 980ti

No other game does this frequent pausing thing.
