Octratrack saving A-Z? I really did try search!

Is there a diffinitive saving guide to make sure that every aspect is saved. A process or outline of what people do when turning the machine off or anything to make sure its 100%. I am one of those people afraid to turn off my octa before tracking it! Sorry if this has been asked a link will do as well.
