Hello horror fiends, I'm writing an analysis of the horror genre for my freshmen composition class, and I'd love to ask you all a few questions.

Today we had a group discussion about each of our topics that we had chosen, and of course I chose some thing I love: horror.
Now, unfortunately, the people in my class are not fellow horror fiends so I felt like I was speaking to aliens from another planet, so I'd figure I'd ask you guys a few questions.

1. Why do you LOVE horror?
2. Do you get scared watching horror? and in what sense?
3. What is your favorite genre, and why?
4. What is the purpose of horror? To just scare?
5. Why are we so damn fascinated with horror?
