Are Hollywood producers/studios less inclined to bet on non-native English speakers, since there are so many successful Canadian/British/Kiwi/Australian filmmakers working in Hollywood, but hardly any really successful non native English speakers?

For instance many of the biggest Hollywood productions are directed by people from other English speaking countries, such as Titanic, Avatar, The Lord of the Rings, District 9, The Martian etc. etc.
