Hello r/borrow,

I'm looking for a short term loan to off set some costs associated with college. I commute from home to college every day of every week by train (I don't have a car or license) and still need to cover some textbooks (not all my required textbooks are in libraries or book loan programs). Parents don't have money to lend since they are also supporting two other children. I submitted a loan request to the college on the second week of this month, February, because I don't qualify for financial aid and it takes 6 weeks to process documents and cut the loan check. This means I would be getting the loan paid out sometime in the middle of March and can bay back your generous r/borrow loan with that money plus interest.

I've got midterms coming up in the next two weeks with no money to afford the commute to class. Any help you can offer, would be greatly appreciated.
