I haven't played in 6+ months... what's with the anime characters?

And glowing camos? And other paint jobs that seem very cartoony?

Whoa, what happened? My biggest issues with this game were the grind and the RNG, otherwise I liked how they had historical ships and learning about them.

When did it become so... weird?
