Does anyone else get monthly calls and texts from their GP asking if they smoke?

Lately the calls haven't even been from my GP - they actually told me when I asked why that I should speak to 'whoever my doctors clinic is' and speak to them about it if I don't feel like telling them.

Has anyone else had this happen to them? I am a smoker (cut back heaps recently) but I just think its strange to be called from unlisted numbers and texted about it roughly once a month.
