Gifting Operation Wildfire Pass To Friend

So I bought an OW pass for a friend and I can't trade it for another 7 days (Volvo plz). I really want to get it to him today or something. We thought that maybe I can sell it on the community market and he can buy it but we don't know how buy order works and we are afraid that someone else may take it. Is there anyway to get the OW pass to him?
