2009 subaru forester very loud beep behind dash when key turned "on" for several seconds no engine light started today

I have a 2009 subaru forester and when I turn the key the normal chimes go on but today a loud beep has started and continues for probably 15 seconds or so. It sounds like it's coming from behind the instrument panel and is very loud and irritating. Nothing shows up when computer is read by autozone
