2012 Volkswagen Tiguan - reliability issues?

Hi, thanks to anyone reading/responding!

I want to buy a small-ish SUV, budget is $15,000. 4WD/AWD is a must for me, are there any specific issues I should be aware of with the Tiguan? I've read that earlier years had some reliability issues, but apparently those were cleared up by the 2012 model. I'm also aware of cars like the Honda CR-V and Totoya Rav4, so any thoughts on those as potential substitutes would also be appreciated.
