I dinged my Gransfors Bruk SFA first time using it. I feel like crap

I went out behind my apartment to chop up some wood and found this flat piece of wood perfect to chop on top of. I just got my GB axe and was excited to test it out.

What I didn't know what that there was a nail just underneath the wood and I came down on top of it. Dinged my edge and now I'm sitting here feeling like an idiot and pretty butthurt about it.
